IT'S A WILD WORLD

IT'S A WILD WORLD

The trill of a tiny bird wafting on air

wild flower sprouting on a stonewall

a pebble jewel-like embedded in sand

play between predator and prey,

between people and their environment,

mountains, oceans, hills, rivers, forests...

All these and more form the basis of my writings. It is only our love for the Earth and the small things within that will help us nurture it. Larger issues of environment then will take care of themselves.

I urge you to share in my personal experiences through these Earth letters.

About Me

My photo
Padmaja Parulkar
MUMBAI, Colaba, India
For someone who grew up in a concrete jungle - in crowded neighbourhoods with buildings cheek-by-jowl, the natural world held charm beyond wildest imagination. Since, having travelled and come in closer connect with the Earth in all its ecological and natural glory, the child-like wonder never ceases. As I watch Nature I also grapple with environmental issues that concern us as individuals in our day-to-day life. With a Masters in Ecology & Environment and several years of work experience in writing and print media, I marry my two passions through these blogs.
